Introduction
Chobe Savanna is a new
luxury lodge, located on the banks of the Chobe River in Namibia, overlooking the Chobe
National Park.
The lodge is constructed of brick, wood and thatch and the guest facilities include a
lounge, with open fireplace and a bar with 180-degree panoramic views over the Chobe River
flood-plains. The lodge also has an open-air swimming pool with a beautiful sun-deck.
The lodge
accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in 12 safari chalet suites made of exquisite thatch,
all of which overlook the Chobe River and into Chobe National Park. All sites have their
own private terrace, are en-suite, air-conditioned and fitted with a mini bar and overhead
fan.
Chobe Savannah Lodge accepts children of all ages and the only restriction is that
children under the age of 8 years are excluded from participating in game drives.
SAFARI ACTIVITIES
Early
morning or evening game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle. Sunset cruises on the Chobe
River or personalised guided cruises on one of the smaller water craft belonging to the
Lodge. There are also fishing and guided nature walks.
